Candysse Miller, Executive Director, Insurance Information Network of California, Candysse Miller joined the Western Insurance Information Service in 1996 as its Regional Director, and oversaw its reorganization into the Insurance Information Network of California in 1999. As the chief spokesperson for the property/casualty industry in California, she has appeared on such programs as Dateline NBC, 20/20, Nightline, the Today Show, NBC Nightly News and ABC World News Tonight as well as newspapers including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post and Los Angeles Times. Prior to joining IINC, Ms. Miller served as a deputy press secretary for the California Department of Insurance, managing Los Angeles media operations. She began her career as a reporter covering regional public policy issues at newspapers in Orange and San Bernardino counties. She attended UCLA and UC Riverside, where she graduated in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Journalism.
