Peter Galassi is the Supervisor, SIU Property at Mercury Insurance Group.  Mr. Galassi is responsible for the fraud recognition program for the property claims units, provides fraud recognition training and assistance, coordinates and facilitates interaction with state regulatory agencies, and interacts with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies.  Prior to joining Mercury Insurance Group, Mr. Galassi worked in fraud prevention with USAA Insurance, Nationwide Insurance and the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.  A former Police Officer, Mr. Galassi has served on the International Association of Special Investigation Units, Southern California Fraud Investigators Association, California Conference of Arson Investigators.  Mr. Galassi is also a Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator (CIFI) and License Private Investigator.
