Premium Fraud and Tax Evasion in the Underground Economy

The underground economy is a huge source of fraud.  Firms pay workers in cash and fail to report this payroll to their workers' comp carriers or to the Employment Development Department.  This practice results in stealing premiums from carriers and preventing businesses fair competition for jobs.  Attend this session and learn how to prevent this fraud and how it is being prosecuted.
